Starting Your Travel Search
Choosing the Itinerary Type
After choosing Trip Planner, Flight, Hotel or Car Hire from the Travel drop-down menu, choose an itinerary type by clicking one of these tabs: Round Trip or One-way.
Round Trip
A round trip assumes that you are returning to the same, or a nearby, airport. (When you first visit the Travel page, Round Trip is selected by default.) Click the checkbox next to each service (Flight, Hotel, Car Hire) to expand and use it. The Flight section of the Travel page includes fields for the return flight. Once the flight information has been entered, the hotel and car hire search fields are populated with information matching the flight. For example, your car hire search will match pick-up and drop-off locations, dates, and times to your flight arrival time at your destination, based on what you have already entered in the Flight section.
One-way
Select a one-way flight. Click the checkbox next to each service (Flight, Hotel, and Car Hire) to expand and use it. The Flight section of the Travel page assumes a one-way flight. Once the flight information has been entered, the hotel and car hire search fields are populated with information matching the flight. For example, your car hire search will match the pick-up and drop-off locations, dates, and times to your flight arrival time at your destination, based on what you have already entered in the Flight section.
Choosing Travel Services
Tip: To save time, we recommend that you search for a flight first, before searching for a hotel or car hire. Some of the fields used when searching for hotel and car hire are populated by flight search information, and search results correspond to the flight.
After choosing the itinerary type, follow the instructions for searching and selecting these services:
