Setting Up Your Personal Google Calendar
Note: If you have previously set up your personal Google calendar, you may have to update your configuration. Google calendar integration has been upgraded to use the latest Google calendar features. As a result, you need to update your configuration by setting up your Google calendar again.
Setting Up
Follow these steps to set up your personal Google calendar:
- Click your name at the top of the screen, and choose Profile from the drop-down menu. The Profile page appears.
Note: If you are already on the Profile page, be sure to first refresh the page in your browser. - Click the Google link in the Address Book and Calendar section of the Profile page.
- A warning dialogue appears. Click Continue and sign in to your Google account with your Google ID and password. Be sure to sign in to the correct account for the calendar that you want to update.
- A verification page appears to confirm access. Click the Allow access button.
Testing and Syncing
You can also test your Google calendar integration. Follow these steps:
- Click the Edit Calendar Settings link on the Profile page below the Google link. The Calendar Settings page appears.
- Click the Test button.
- A test event should appear in your Google calendar shortly, positioned within the next hour. You can remove the test event after confirming that the test was successful.
If your Google calendar is out of sync with your bookings and service notices, you can manually sync it. Open the Calendar Settings page as described in Step 1 above, and click the Sync button on the Calendar Settings page.
Tip: Your Google calendar may be out of sync if you have accidentally deleted a booking from the calendar, or if you had unchecked the "Allow services and bookings to be automatically added to my calendar" option (which is normally checked).

What if I don’t see a link for Google in the Address Book and Calendar section of the Profile page?
You may not have Google personal calendar integration set up for your site. Your site administrator enables the personal Google calendar integration feature.
Do I need to set up the Google personal calendar integration every time I complete a booking?
No. You set up the calendar once, and all subsequent bookings appear in the enabled calendar.
Do upcoming bookings appear in my calendar after I set up Google personal calendar integration?
Yes. Upcoming bookings that were made after personal Google calendar integration was enabled on your site appear when you set up your personal calendar. However, bookings that have expired more than four hours before the integration was enabled, are not synced.
You can manually sync your Google calendar by clicking the Edit Calendar Settings link below the Google link in the Address Book and Calendar section of the Profile page, and then clicking the Sync button.
