Viewing and Changing Upcoming Trips with the Mobile App
You can review your upcoming booked trip itineraries, share them, and make changes to them.
Viewing and Sharing Trip Information
To review your upcoming booked trip itineraries, swipe the picture in the upper portion of the Home screen, and tap a trip to see its details. The white dots show how many trip itineraries you can view.
Tip: You can also choose Upcoming from the side menu to view upcoming trips:
The Upcoming screen shows each trip. Tap the trip itself to see more information about the trip. Tap the Share trip link to share the trip information with others:
Tip: You can tell if your flight ticket has been issued by tapping Transaction History in the side menu. A transaction list appears with each trip and its status:
- Confirmed: Ticketed
- Hold: On hold
- Cancelled: Cancelled
- Completed: Ticket was issued and the trip was completed.
Canceling a Booked Trip
Follow these steps to cancel a booked trip:
- Tap the upcoming trip on the main menu, or tap Upcoming in the side menu (as described in the previous section).
- Tap Cancel trip for an upcoming trip to cancel the entire trip. A confirmation page appears with a checkbox that states you have reviewed the itinerary:
- Tap the checkbox to confirm the statement "I have reviewed this itinerary and confirm the cancellation of this booking."
- Tap Confirm Cancellation to finish.
The confirmation shows a breakdown of the services to be cancelled and any penalties associated with the cancellation. If any part of the cancellation fails, an error message appears showing which segment could not be cancelled. The system automatically tracks unused tickets generated by the cancellation.
Tip: You can also cancel segments of a trip, including all flights and one or more hotel, and car rental segments. Tap the upcoming trip to see details, and tap the Cancel trip link for that segment. You must confirm the cancellation of each segment.
Note:Â
- You can't cancel a booked trip if any one of the booked services is not cancelable. All booked services must be cancelable.
- You can't cancel a booked trip that includes a train segment.
- You can't cancel a booked trip that includes another non-supported service, such as car services booked offline.
- You can't cancel just one flight segment from a trip that includes other flight segments. You can only cancel all flight segments.
- You can't selectively cancel bookings for a trip that has already started.
- You can't selectively cancel any portion of a multi-city flight itinerary after booking the itinerary.
Changing a Booked Trip
You can change any part of a booked trip itinerary, including flight, hotel, and car rental. You can even Add a hotel and/or a car rental segment to an offline-originated booking.Â
Note: When changing a flight before a trip start, the hotel and car rental selections at the destination are aligned to the new flight dates and times.Â
Follow these steps to change an upcoming trip:
- Tap the upcoming trip on the main menu, or tap Upcoming in the side menu.
- Tap Modify trip for an upcoming trip. The Review Itinerary page appears.
- Make a change:
- To add a flight to a trip without a flight, tap the Add Flight link. The hotel and car rental dates and times are automatically aligned with the new flight dates and times.Â
- To add a hotel or car rental to a flight, tap the Add Hotel or Add Car Rental link. The hotel or car rental search results are based on the flight destination.
- To change a flight, tap the Change Flight, Change All Flights, or Change Return Flight link. You can then make changes (such as dates, times, destination, and so on) and select a flight from the flight search results.
Tip: You can see how much it costs to change a flight. The gray banner above each flight search result shows the estimated cost after the ticket exchange. The flight choices that are the least costly to change are sorted to the top of the search results. You can also tap Ticket Exchange Details at the bottom of the Review Itinerary page for exchange details. - To change a hotel or car rental, click the Change Hotel or Change Car Rental link. You can then make changes (such as dates and times) and and select a hotel or car rental from the search results.
- To remove a hotel or car rental, click the Remove link.
- To add a flight to a trip without a flight, tap the Add Flight link. The hotel and car rental dates and times are automatically aligned with the new flight dates and times.Â
Note:Â
- You can't add a flight to a trip that already includes flight segments.
- You can't add a flight to a trip with a train booking.
- You can't remove just one flight segment from a trip that includes other flight segments. You can only cancel all flight segments.
